Excellent service from start to finish. Good communication after booking, we booked a pet friendly room so that we could bring our dog. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The owners were very friendly. Wortley is a very pleasant village with excellent walks from the guesthouse doorstep. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would stay there again.

This is a lovely quirky guest house. The hosts are very welcoming and are very knowledgable about the area. We attended a Wedding at nearby Wortley Hall and it was in our favour that the Hall was fully booked and we found Wortley Cottages. The rooms are clean and comfortable with little toucges like a bottle opener/corkscrew. Our price included a light breakfast which was perfect for us,but there is an option to pay more for a full english. I would 100% recommend Wortley Cottages to anyone.

Wortley is a little village in beautiful countryside. Wortley Hall has gardens open to visitors and beautiful views. Wortley Cottage is also a Post office/ shop and I bought some of their local honey. There's a farm shop, vintage furniture shop a pub, working mans club, a coffee shop/cafe and a church. We went to a Wedding so didn't get chance to explore. We do intend going back to see the gardens and check out the farm shop...and probably buy more honey
