I had the most amazing time staying at this hostel! The dorm felt cosy and comfortable, the lounge/dining area was lovely, food was delicious and everything was clean. Antony, Andy and Charlie couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful and their local area knowledge helped me make the most of my stay. I was a little nervous going away on my own for the first time but I felt at home as soon as I walked through the door and had a brilliant 3 days of walking. Can’t wait to come back!

The only reason I scored down facilities (for a change) is that Room 11 big window (left frame) - the top right hand corner of the window didn't close completely and so there was a constant small stream of colder air into the room. The heating didn't really warm the room up at all consequently. It wasn't that cold but enough. Worth looking at in your winter period as it didn't respond to opening and shutting the window a few times.
