Host was really kind and helpful. Location is okay if you don’t mind a small stroll of about 30 minutes to the center. Otherwise you can take a tuktuk.

Beautiful little hotel outside the city center with a sauna, pool, and yoga area. The outdoor kitchen is great, and the owner is very attentive. The only downside was the decoration of our room, but that’s just a matter of taste. I would definitely recommend this place

We stayed at Casa Lobo for 3 nights in Terre One as two couples, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Guatemala. The location is ideal — just a 15-minute walk into town. When we didn’t feel like walking, tuk-tuks were always nearby and cost only 5–10Q per person, making it super easy to get around. The unit itself was spacious and unique, set over two floors. The downstairs bedroom is located right off the entrance near the bathroom, while the upstairs bedroom is much larger, with a TV, a balcony, and plenty of space to relax. There aren’t doors separating the rooms, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling as two couples, but the upstairs definitely became our main hangout spot. The best part was the rooftop terrace, complete with hammocks, swinging chairs, and amazing views of the lake — perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The beds were unbelievably comfortable — by far the best we had anywhere in Guatemala (I’m still thinking about them now!). The shared infinity pool is stunning, with sweeping views, and the hummingbirds that hover around the property make it feel extra magical. Lobo, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming. He was always happy to chat and gave us great recommendations on places to eat, drink, and explore. The property also has a shared kitchen and pool area, plus a fridge stocked with drinks (both soft and alcoholic). You simply note down what you take and settle up before leaving — prices were very fair, and it was such a convenient option. Nearby, there’s a pizza place you can order from via WhatsApp, a fantastic Italian restaurant, and a great breakfast spot within walking distance. We chose San Pedro for its lively vibe and wide variety of things to do, but staying just outside of the main town gave us the peace and tranquility we wanted. Between the infinity pool, the rooftop hammocks, and the welcoming atmosphere, Casa Lobo truly feels like a hidden gem. We couldn’t recommend it more — and we’d happily return in a heartbeat!
