Staying in Harriet House for several times the last years we have to conclude: Times around us may change but quality and charme of this B&B and it's hosts don't change. They're are as delighting as ever.

Excellent service provided by the hosts Heidi & Paul! They're both warm people who take good care for their guests. Everything is very clean (room, towels, toilet, etc.). Good bed by the way and they provide you every morning with a very good breakfast. We've enjoyed our stay at Harriet House. Part of good memories of our visit to Canterbury. Karin & Erwin

Tips for other travellers
Harriet House is a 10-15 mins walk along the river, from the city centre . So one doesn’t have to drive around searching for parking spaces. The hosts have their own secure parking, where the gates are closed at night. All amenities are provided in the room, such as a mini fridge, toiletries tea coffee making facilities ( including an nespresso coffee maker). Breakfast is absolutely fabulous, with almost all ingredients locally sourced, supporting local farmers and suppliers. For a cooked breakfast, you have to complete and submit a request form(supplied by the hosts) , the evening before. We had the ground floor room which had an ensuite shower and toilet ( no bath) and washing facility. This room was rather compact and it’s ideal for a couple on a short stay. This property is accessed via Market Way off St Stephenson Road, ( 3rd property on the right ) straight into the carpark with 7 spaces. Follow sigh to the right of the parking area to the reception, to gain access into the property. Here there is a little garden area with outdoor seating . There is WiFi at the property and there is a rack in reception area which has loads of information leaflets on places of interest . We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

Fantastic stay as always. Rooms are perfect, so clean and tidy. Heidi and Paul are brilliant hosts, so friendly and helpful. They also provided a lovely gesture to celebrate my Birthday. Fantastic location and the best breakfast we’ve had in a hotel/guest house. Parking as well.
