The room looked newly decorated and was very attractive. The bed was so comfy if it hadn't been for breakfast I could have stayed in it all day. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. All in all a perfect place to stay

Having stayed here numerous times I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is always plentiful and very tasty. The hotel is situated on North promenade which is very peaceful and has great views of the the harbour and abbey.we'll be booking in again later this year for another good break.

If you fancy a tasty takeaway there's Gino's takeaway jus around the corner. Lovely pizzas! If you want a Sunday lunch on any day there is a cafe in the train station building. We went in and I ordered a filled Yorkshire pudding with sausages ( could have had chicken or beef) and when it arrived at the table I thought there's no way I'm going to finish that,it was massive! Really good value for money too, 2 meals and drinks for just short of £27.
