Friendly and helpful staff. Great, rooms, comfy beds and very quiet and peaceful. Massive choice for breakfast and all very tasty.

Tips for other travellers
Good walk into town where you can find a great variety and shops. Fantastic fish and chip restaurants. Have a good lunch then burn it off by heading up the 199 steps to the abbey or just relax on a boat trip which only costs a fiver. Another great walk to Sandsend along the beach is recommended and is only just over a couple of miles.

Lovely walk to Sandsend. There is a Golf course nearby.
Walk into Whitby up to Abbey. There are plenty of Pubs and restaurants,
You can leave your car at hotel and catch buses.
We visited Robin Hoods Bay via bus.
Saltburn is a lovely place to visit, which you can go by bus,
