Excellent stay - staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless and had everything we needed. Excellent breakfast - best part of break for me - having my breakfast made for me! Will definitely be returning.

Tips for other travellers

Bit of a walk into town but only 10-20 minutes dependent on individuals abilities. Was nice to be out of town and the views out to sea were lovely.

Rooms lovely and clean .Great sized bathroom.Staff very friendly and helpful especially when we arrived and couldnt see a parking spot .Went out and stood in non permit space till husband moved car into it .Loved the view from our room .No sound heard from other rooms unlike some places where you can the tv and people moving around .Breakfast was exceptional .Cooked to order so always nice and hot .Plenty of choice of cereal , fruits yogurts and breakfast juices .We ate in bar several evenings and again the food was lovely and prices were good .Would definately recommend here and if we ever having a holiday in Whitby again will most definately stay here .Thank you for a lovely holiday stay

Tips for other travellers

We visited The Captain Cook museum which was very interesting .Also Whitby museum in Pannet Park .The museum is like a Tardis with all the exhibits it houses .It has a lovely tearoom with friendly helpful staff abd a selection of food and cakes .Pannet Park is lovely to walk in and you can follow the Jurassic path .We went a bit further out of Whitby and visited Locomotion which is a train museum , The Yorkshire Air Museum and Scarborough .
