My son and I stayed as a Base to climb Scafell Pike, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Lovely accommodation, location was great (short walk to 2 local pubs and beautiful walks on the doorstep). Breakfast was tasty, packed lunches so convenient. Beds were really comfy, loved the pillows and duvets! Even enjoyed a swim in the river before we left! Hope to return x

Plunge pool near water wheel museum is fun & refreshing Great circular walks across the road passing St Catherine's church, great streams & picnic spots to dip your feet & King George IV pub for a drink before you head back 2 great pubs in Boot for evening meals
