We stayed in the front wing which was full of character and charm . The rooms had many original features including large sash windows and fire places It had wonderful sea views and the bonus of access to a garden . Many thanks to both Victoria and Mark who were great hosts.

Excellent location, 100 yards to local real ale pub which had fantastic sunset views of Church Bay . Less than 10 minutes walk to Church Bay beach and access to coastal paths. The Wavecreast cafe is a gem, serving huge desserts and excellent coffee. The local restaurant The Lobster Pot is definitely worth a visit.

Our second stay in the beautiful front wing of this fine farmhouse was just as perfect once more. Victoria and Mark have created a welcoming.. cosy.. elegant interior in a most delightful way. One feels immediately at home with everything one might possibly need. Lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the gorgeous views out to sea and from each window.. to sheep grazing and old church steeple. We have often enjoyed staying in the converted barn loft also.. always impressed that everything is dealt with in a wonderfully sustainable way.

Church Bay just a short walk away is all one needs on a warm summers day.. sand and beautiful array of coloured pebbles and rocks to explore.. picnic and relax. Lovely sunsets over Holyhead Mountain. Coastal paths as far as one might wish to trek. Ynys y Fydlynn absolutely worth exploring heading southwest. Top of our list is South Stack on Holy Island at the top of the island.. the spectacular view down to the lighthouse.. the 400+ steps.. the birds nesting on the tall cliffs. Recommend highly the Lobster Pot Restaurant and the Gadlys Hotel for delicious varied meals.

We had a lovely stay, Mark and Victoria were very welcoming and on hand if we had any queries. We had the entire farmhouse and enjoyed the garden in the hot weather. We were pleased there were some condiments in the kitchen, always useful when self catering. Beds were a bit hard but it was very peaceful.

The pub opposite up the hill is very quirky and lovely for a drink with fantastic views of the bay. We had one meal in The Lobster Pot but it was a bit disappointing, over priced and not so special. However the Wavecrest cafe was excellent. Pity they have limited opening hours as their food was good. Scones with strawberries and cream amazing. We visited Sir Kyffin Williams gallery, well worth a visit and Beaumaris Castle. Stand out trip was South Stack RSPB really beautiful and interesting. Bodnant Gardens and Portmerion also outstanding places to visit. Not forgetting the beach at Church Bay and a swim in the sea. Beautiful.
