Comfortable apartment in a lovely quiet location with beautiful views. Within walking distance of facilities in the village. Finally, made really special by the Red Squirrels which visit the garden. Wonderful !

Red squirrels visit by the window so you can watch their antics. Take binoculars and you can sit on the beautiful balcony and watch sea life and a variety of birds on the feeders. Plenty of pubs with restaurants in town and a short hill back to the property keeps you fit.

Thank you so much Jennifer and Graham. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. No need to bring binoculars though - there are some on the bottom shelf of the bookcase

Fantastic week at Dean lodge despite the weather ( 4 seasons in 1 week!) Margaret and Ian were extremely helpful and maintained contact throughout our booking until arrival. They were very supportive when our ferry crossing was cancelled and advised on overnight accommodation in Troon. We felt the whole service provided was very personal and thoughtful. ( even received a wedding anniversary card!) Thank you The accommodation is very well though out and the view is delightful. All that was missing was a bit of warm sunshine to enjoy the amazing veranda and views! ( I'm sure our hosts would have even provided this if they could!)

Favourite restaurant - The Drift Inn for the seafood and views. Favourite walks - Goats fell from Cladach, walks around Kingscross e.g.to KC point and Glendashdale falls. Many walks to choose from all around the island depending on length required and ability. Lots of useful information regarding walks at Dean Lodge. Favourite shop - The Cheese Shop near Cladach
