"There are so many things to do in the area - fascinating ruins, country houses, the coast (Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough, RSPB Bempton Cliffs etc) and perfect for walks suitable for everyone through beautiful countryside - a great book for ideas for places to explore is the Bradt Slow Travel Guide “North York Moors & Yorkshire Wolds” by Mike Bradshaw"
