"Our 2nd stay was just as inviting as the first (last year) The Granary (last year) is huge and was more than adequate. The Stables (this year) was well equipped in every sense, more than adequate. Hope to stay again next year. "

Tip:
"Stunning views of Traprain Law and Hailes Castle from the farm. Worth a walk to the castle - a short walk past the cottages brings you to a a little wooden bridge that leads to Hailes Castle. We drove to Traprain law and came across the wild horses straight away - wonderful treat. Sturdy walking shoes needed. Much easier using the park and ride at Wallyford train station to access Edinburgh. Buses are available but take a much longer route. North Berwick is a delightful beach/place, close by is Tantallon Castle - beautiful views from the cliffs. Short distance from the castle is Drift - a cafe with a view! Very very busy and a tad expensive. But worth the views."

"Hi did you get my message about the leaking radiator pipe in lounge of Simmdy. The message didn't appear to go ,but the leak stopped. So all good.Also a small plate got broken in the other cottage.
Everyone very happy with cottages.
