"North Berwick is always worth a visit as is Haddington. Lovely walk along the Tyne to St Mary's Church. If you enjoy cheese it's well worth a visit to The Cheese Lady shop in Haddington a huge selection we always take some back to Essex "

"We had a great holiday at Over Hailes cottages. We stayed in the Granary which was perfect for our family group of 6. Having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The kitchen was the centre of the house. And it was warm and welcoming. The property was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the little touches such as providing cooking oil. "

Tip:
"The walk to Hailes castle was lovely along the river and across the bridge. The Bonnie Badger gastropub in Gullane serves great food but you need to book in advance. "
