"We cannot fault this gorgeous B & B. The room we had was large, comfortable and blessed with a comfy sofa and wide window offering amazing views of Loch Lairg beach and Rum in the distance. Sue our ever helpful host, cooked delicious breakfasts and heart warming evening meals which were most welcome after walking. Sue was most caring about our predicaments with cancelled & disrupted ferry journeys due mostly to bad weather.
Getting to Lageora to & from the ferry requires the services of Charlie’s taxi but that was no problem at all. We didn’t see as much of Eigg as we would have liked. I hope we’ll come back and be a tad luckier with the weather!

"Sue is a lovely kind lady as we got to know her a little bit, amazing cook, breakfasts were superb, the accommodation is very clean good quality bedding,,lovely little touches like milk, biscuits, quality beverages, toilet rolls, thick towels in room. The view is absolutely stunning. We were blessed to have 2 ladies staying in the opposite room who were also nice and quiet so no noise, bed is very comfortable with thoughts to the season in duvet,( some places just leave the winter one on all summer).We would not hesitate to recommend Sue and Lageorna to others, wish we had longer stay to explore more of the Island and beach."

Tip:
"If able hire a bike to fully appreciate the Island, fine if you can walk, bit limiting if not. Although Charlie the taxi driver is only next door and will cheerfully give you a lift, he is in demand!
Eigg is beautiful, no traffic, be wary of some of the Islanders driving if on bike or foot when they pass by, but most are respectful and slow down or stop.
Bike hire is excellent, sadly I could not fit in the bushcraft or any water sports, the shop is well stocked, cafe is lovely, fab home made pizzas."
