"Over the years we have enjoyed a number stays at your cottage, in fact we have availed ourselves of two breaks this year, one in August and a ten day stay in September, the location is perfect especially for children, when our grand children accompanied us they loved the play area, catching crabs and kite flying, my wife insists on cleanliness and Sandcastle Cottage passes with flying colours."

"Actually its worth reading through the information booklet which has all the detail anyone could need, we tended to do a lot of walking during our most recent stay, the views are stunning and its well worth catching the sun rise from the upstairs window, Crail is a delightful village and everyone greets you in passing, so friendly and welcoming!"

"This is a beautifully situated cottage with a wonderful garden and inside you have everything you could need for your stay. It's like a home from home and nothing has been forgotten. Sandy and Susan are the perfect hosts and are just a call away should you need to contact them. A home that I would like to say one day I would return to. So sad to leave."

Tip:
"Crail has all amenities you could wish for and as for shopping there is the Co-op, pharmacy, Penmans butcher, Greens deli/greengrocers which is a joy to shop in for local produce and the owner also makes his own Crail gin if you enjoy a tipple.Shells gift shop and the Beehive that's sells ice cream and light lunches, coffees and not to forget to visit the Pottery that is a must to take a piece of Crail home. Roome Bay is on your doorstep and a place I learnt to swim in the 60's with my family. Take yourself down and just inhale the sea air as I did and get lost in your own thoughts. My favourite tea room is the harbour and sells the best cheese scones and other delights. The coffee was first class. There is a lady on the High Street that makes all oil skins goods, hats, bags and woollen wear. I had a hat made to order which I will wear when sunny and it's waterproof too. Fish n chips is a must at the seaside but bear in mind it opens on a Wednesday. Enjoy your stay Crail is such a welcoming place and the locals are warm and friendly. "
