"NTS Inverewe Gardens visited 3 times in a week - fabulous
Poolewe - lovely riverside walk / Pool house interesting exhibition and lovely cafe
Gairloch beach great sheltered bay
Gairloch farm shop great for fresh meat / fish if cooking meals
Old Inn Gairloch - wonderful fish specials

"Aultbea Lodge was a real gem!! We feel very fortunate to be able to book a stay at such a nice place. Highly recommend Aultbea Lodges. Emma is a lovely host and it was a pleasure to meet her. It was particularly nice to be able to feed the birds as I do so at home every day. Really a good feeling when you return to a beautiful place like the Western Coast of Scotland and are as comfortable as you would be at home. That is the feeling at Aultbea Lodges. Thanks Emma."

"Great Museum in Gairloch just 8 miles down the road."

"An oasis of peace, comfort and birdsong in a stunning part of the world. all your cares drop away here. It's Wonderful and Emma is lovely. "

Tip:
"The Aultbea hotel bar has opened again! What a spot for a drink!

The shop is stocked with everything you need and run by lovely people.

This time we visited Mellon Udrigle beach. Absolutely stunning ."
