"We had a great stay with Sue & Steve at Harling House.

We stayed in the Thornton room which was extremely clean, spacious and airy and the bed was so big we almost had to send letters to one another.

Although by the road, there was very little traffic and although my wife is a light sleeper, she wasn’t disturbed.

Sue and Steve were welcoming, friendly and a great source of information about places to go and where, on the Settle to Carlisle line to get off to make the most of the trip. If you are into photography, Steve is a great source of information and will let you know about the stepping stones on the Ingleton Waterfalls walk.

There was an excellent choice for breakfast and, if you fancy a change from a fry up, I highly recommend both the porridge and the omelette which were great, as I might add is the fry up.

Harling House is perfectly situated, just on the edge of Ingleton, and is just a few minutes away from some extremely good food establishments and also perfectly sited for getting to local destinations such as Settle, Hawes, Skipton etc.

Overall, we would highly recommend a stay at Harling House, you won’t be disappointed.
