"For a large group of friends and families, planning a stay in the wilderness of Thurso, look nowhere else. Bronagh and Dave are absolutely amazing hosts - the communication right from the booking through checkout has been fantastic. Though Bronagh could not meet and greet us in person maintaining safety protocols during the ongoing Cov-19 pandemic, we had the privilege of meeting and interacting with Dave which was an absolute pleasure. I will definitely like to be back in Spring/Summer 2022."

Tip:
"There is a Tesco superstore in Wick which is about 25 mins drive. There is a local butcher in Castletown which is about 15 mins drive and local farm shop named Puffin Croft which is enroute to the Duncansby Stack (P.S. the farm shop is closed until January due to ongoing renovation work). The property has two small refrigerators if the guests would like to carry their food."

"The Highland Haven is a fantastic location, a wonderful place to stay and I cannot recommend it more strongly. The views are sensational, it’s just off the NC500 route (clearly sign posted). I cannot recommend the Highland Haven more strongly. I would definitely stay there again! "

"An absolute haven and hidden gem. The accommodation was spotless and incredibly well furnished. There was everything we needed and more. The host were very helpful and friendly with lots of little extras. We wanted to stay forever!
