"The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The dark finishes in the shower room made it a bit hard to see, particularly in the shower itself, which was very gloomy ( but fantastic otherwise). The hotel is on a cycle route so a sheltered bike store would be a good idea. Good food and good beer, but the breakfast could have been better, eg muesli as well as cornflakes. The Web description suggests the upstairs rooms have a view over the River Manifold towards Hulme end - which is pushing the truth a bit. There is a good view of the bridge and road. Hope these comments are helpful."
