"Stayed in room 5. Removed 1 spider from entrance door. Removed 2 spiders and webs in corner above bed. Removed 2 more from window alcove. Good job I dont mind spiders. The extractor fan in bathroom not working. The tv control needs new batteries we had to get out of bed and stand right in front of tv to change channels. Hey its the countryside we enjoyed our stay and would come again. "

"Booked 3 night stay at this inn. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food is excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

Ps. Please consider putting non-slip mats in showers.

"A trip on the bus to Ashbourne is a must.
Good walking area."

"Lovely perfect room for what we wanted, small but we only needed a bed and shower cos pub was wonderful. Greay shower and fab breakfast, dinner was brilliant too and all the staff very friendly and helpful"

Tip:
"End of trail of manifold valley take a picnic because staff in tea room were stood around looking miserable with one who served us needing a meeting with her boss!!"
