"A very welcoming pub, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room and the bed was super comfortable, I slept very well!! Excellent food on offer for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff, highly recommended!!"

Tip:
"There is good walking nearby, I stayed on the road due to not having walking boots but the scenery is amazing and I saw at least one footpath heading off across the fields.

Note that evening food service ends reasonably early but that is clear on the website and advised at check in. Not a problem if you are aware..."

"Unfortunately there was no hot water in the room.
Mix up with deposit payment and bill at end of stay.

None has put us off as we always enjoy visiting either for a stay or just to call in.
We didn’t realise about water until wanted a shower so we just had a cold one Saturday then showered at home on sunday. Forgot to inform you at check out as had to sort out that we had paid for room on arrival "
