"Due to the time of year we had our holiday (early Nov). We found a lot of the pubs have shorter weeks and hours, but otherwise lots of choices and lots of walks. A superb area to stay in. "

"This is a very attractive and well-appointed barn conversion. It was comfortable, cosy, and warm with superb views and we loved being surrounded by the sheep. The owner has really attended to detail and we lacked nothing, including little luxuries, which you can't often say about holiday accommodation. Suitable for dogs as is is well-fenced. We hope to return. "

Tip:
"We loved the countryside walks at Burford/Fulbrook and Minster Lovell. We braved the crowds at the Farmer's Dog and found the service and food surprisingly good. Prices comparative to other pubs locally. "
