"Sue and Tony, what can I say other than thank you both from the bottom of my heart!
We had an amazing stay, clean and super comfortable!
But the real gem of the property are Sue and Tony! Our son had Audhd, and it was his first B&B stay. Sue and Tony went above board to accommodate or family needs and were the most welcoming hosts regardless!
The facilities were perfect and the village picturesque! A perfect get away for peace and quiet.
Sue’s breakfasts are fresh and cooked to order, which is a godsend for autistic children with allergies. Sue catered to his every need and we had great conversations over breakfast!
We can not thank them enough for making our first family trip a special one! Thank you for everything ♥️"

Tip:
"Assuming a village is limited, you’d be wrong. Plenty of shops, fast food, restaurants and scenic routes for walks all times of the day.
The bed and breakfast is tucked away and lovely and quiet but a zip up the road and you’ll find a shopping centre nearby.
"

"Su and Tony were perfect hosts - helpful, informative and hospitable. The guest house itself is cosy and warm which was a bonus given the temperatures outside the day we arrived! Su and Tony's enthusiasm for this beautiful area is very infectious. The breakfasts were tasty with lots of choices. The room was well equipped and quiet and the bed very comfortable. This is a guest house run with love."

Tip:
"A three minute walk led to a cosy pub with a delicious and varied menu - so good and close we ate there both nights. You can amble round the grounds of Wortley Hall. The Peak District National Park is very close. Su and Tony are very knowledgeable about the region and have lots of ideas and maps for walks and cycle rides! "
