"It was a comfortable place to stay with everything we needed but was quite chilly in the evenings. The heating only appeared to come on very early in the morning. The bed was excellent. The location was great and the Coach House is peaceful. The garden area looked a bit tired but we appreciate it is early in the season. There is plenty to see in this part of Wiltshire and the proximity to amenities in Melksham is helpful. (Place mats might have been a nice addition to use on the kitchen table.)"

Tip:
"Lovely place to stay but not having an EV Charger for an electric car is a disadvantage."

Whitley Coach House has central heating with a Nest thermostat that any guest can turn up to a maximum of 23 C and is extremely well insulated, all that was needed was a turn of the dial on the Nest - which is also set so it never goes to cold. I am really sorry you felt cold, a twist of the dial would have solved it. You stayed for 6 nights so I really wish you had told me and it would never have been a problem We had almost non-stop rain here until you stayed in early April so the garden was not on top form when you stayed. But is now in summer mode! Hopefully lots of sunshine and less rain, until the end of Summer. Many thanks for leaving a review I really appreciate it and hope you will stay again.

"We had an excellent 3 night stay at Whitley Coach House. It was perfect for our needs, we would stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to others. The property was really clean, light and airy, very warm, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare home cooked meals and we really appreciated having the freezer above the fridge (not something we find often when staying away from home). The bed was beautiful and really very comfortable, much better than your average holiday accomodation. The outside seating area will be delightful once the weather improves. We really appreciated prompt communication from Tim and for the local information he shared with us prior to our visit and during our stay. We felt safe and secure in the knowledge that we could call at the main house should we need anything at all. Thankyou."

Tip:
"Easy to find. Secure off road parking all on level ground right outside the property. Very quiet and close to local ammenities."

"Extremely well presented accommodation, very helpful team, and I had a great stay in lovely quiet setting. I will definitely use again for my work trips rather than stay in a cramped noisy hotel room!"

Tip:
"The coach house is not visible from the road so don't waste your time looking for it as in the pictures, and through no fault of the owners Google Maps is 100% on point. Keep an eye out for 214 on the wall at the entrance and then it's to your left as you go down the drive. A Georgian House is there and the coach house is around to the side of that.
Tim is an excellent host nothing would be too much trouble if you needed any assistance."
