"Culla cottage is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It's in an exceptional location with pretty much your own private beach five minutes away and the local shop has everything you'll need. Donald and Sheena are the loveliest of hosts as well, and on more than one occasion have been kind enough to let us to stay over our booked holiday when we could not travel home due to ferry problems. They are also super dog lovers and made our two Collies feel very welcome guests! We'll keep coming back!"

Everything about the cottage, its location the facilities within the cottage are perfect.
Even got to love the slow broadband connection because who needs the internet when you have Culla Bay, Benbecula and the rest of the Uists to explore.
The welcome pack was the best we have ever had and Donald popped in to make sure we were happy and told us about the family and the house. That was a lovely touch in this day of faceless holiday cottage ownership.
Fantastic place. highly recommend "

"Our second stay at Culla Cottage and it was good to be back. Our dogs love the fully enclosed garden gives us peace of mind.
The cottage has everything you need maps, books on walks and bird books.
Also novels, games as well can be found in the stool.
Well equipped kitchen which we enjoyed cooking in.
The bathroom is lovely and the bath is the perfect place to warm up after a swim on Culla Beach!
The bedroom is very comfortable with lots of storage.
The cottage is really warm and cosy and the stove was delightful on a cold foggy night."

Tip:
"The local shop is very well stocked, a must is to visit Namara cafe at Kallin harbour also visit the factory shop for scallops and fish.
Westford Inn is good but booking is a must same for Namara.
If you have dogs if you go as foot passengers on either Barra or Harris, Barra do not allow dogs on the bus. You can walk to the airport and watch the planes land there is also a beautiful beach. There is not a lot to see at Leverburgh if you decide to go as foot passengers with dogs other than have a walk up to St Clements and have lunch at the Butty Bus.
A visit to North Uist Gin is worth it it's a short walk from the cottage.
Book your ferries as soon as the timetable is available."

"What a beautiful cottage. Everything you need for your stay. Donald, the property owner greeted us soon after arrival and visited us the evening before our departure to ensure we'd had a lovely time.
The cottage is located only a 2 minute walk to a lovely beach where you can exercise your dog."

Tip:
"This cottage is ideally located for the beach.
Within a 5 minute drive you have a supermarket, petrol stn and gin distillery. All the he essentials for a great stay!"
