"We had an excellent stay at Black Dog Farm.
We received a fabulous welcome, lovely room and breakfast. Cate and her team were so helpful with everything, even booking tickets for us when the weather forced a change of itinerary.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and with the charm of a proper old farmhouse, we were sorry our trip was over so soon."

Tip:
"It's great place to stay for easy access to Longleat House and Safari Park as well as other local attractions.
Cate and the Black Dog Farm team are really helpful with suggestions for restaurants, pubs etc, so don't be afraid to ask."

"Situated on the main Bath Road, an original farmhouse and farm, with large en suite bedrooms decorated in a style to suit the age of the building. Lovely warm rooms with an amazing breakfast using local fresh produce and eggs from own hens."

Tip:
"Fairly isolated being 3 miles from nearest village but a good central base for travelling to Frome, Warminster, Longleat and Stonehenge. A car is essential and parking plentiful. Very dark road but B&B sign illuminated. 3 Horseshoes in Chapmanstead good for food but no meals after 6 on a Sunday."
