"Not long been back from an unforgettable few days at hawthorn hideaway. We stayed on the kingfisher boat and opted for the cruise to drakeholes. We felt welcome even before we arrived, the feel for the place is surreal. The owners literally have left no stone un turned with anything!! The thought and detail thay went in to ensuring our stay was the best was just unreal. The scenery and surroundings are just beyond beautiful. The boat itself is beautiful!! So so cosy we had such a good sleep the beds so comfy and falling asleep listening to the rain hitting the roof was just perfect. I highly recommend cruising if you stay here, we had encounters with kingfishers, Swan, ducks and the laugh we had made it such an unforgettable experience! We also got afternoon tea which was AMAZING! Honestly from start to finish the whole stay was just perfect! Highly highly reccomend. We will defo be returning. Thanks again, kirstie and ben x"

Stayed in owl Lodge, it was just perfect, the hot tub was lovely and the chickens visited us every day, the private chef dining experience was amazing, definitely worth booking and the massage was very relaxing and a perfect pamper to start my birthday, the hosts were on hand if you needed anything, would definitely stay here again."

Thank you Mandie, that's a fantastic review. It has been a bit crazy this year we have back to back bookings, so it really takes it out of the staff who work so hard for us. They really have to work hard not just to clean all the accommodations, but to carry out repairs and replace broken items. So honestly we really appreciate these really positive reviews during these busy times. Thank you so much.

"We had the most wonderful weekend at Hawthorn Hideaway – it was exactly what we needed to switch off and recharge. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The setting is so peaceful and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches everywhere that make it feel really special.

The accommodation was cosy, spotless, and had everything we could possibly need. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying coffee surrounded by nature was such a treat. The hot tub under the stars was a definite highlight – so quiet and private, it felt like our own little sanctuary.

The hosts were fantastic too – welcoming, helpful and clearly passionate about creating a perfect experience for their guests. Every detail, from the quality of the furnishings to the little extras, showed how much care has gone into this place.

We left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend Hawthorn Hideaway if you’re looking for a romantic, peaceful getaway in stunning surroundings."
