"We had wonderful communication with Anne from when we booked with clear instructions on check in/out times and directions etc.

We drove down to Anne's beautiful farmhouse and greeted to our ensuite Pond view room. The room was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, big ensuite with a bath and shower cubical.

Beautiful view of the fields from the window.

Anne left us nice fresh milk to make hot drinks in the room.

After the most peaceful nights sleep we went down for a beautiful scottish breakfast in which you had a choice of juices/cereals/fruit/and a cooked breakfast. We sampled the ducks eggs from the farm and they were delicious (if they are available) as was the sausages/bacon etc - really deicious and great quality.

Anne is such a lovely lady and was lovely to chat to and asked for recommendations.

I am really looking forward to staying at Balhousie Farm again; such a little gem - especially for anyone visiting St Andrews or nearby areas.

"

Tip:
"Really reasonable and comfortable stay close to St Andrews.

Free parking at St Andrews old course to walk along the beach and into the town.

There are other car parks and lots of disabled parking in town.

Take a drive along the coast to Anstruther and neighbouring villages and towns. We had the best fish and chips in 'The Wee Chippy' in Anstruther

Book up local restaurants before you arrive - ask Anne for recommendations - as they get booked up.

Enjoy the peace and quiet.
