"We have been visiting CLs for over 35 years and have also visited a number of large CAMC and independent sites, and Hunger Hill CL is by far the best place we have stayed when it comes to private walks for the dogs. We loved all the fairies and creatures throughout the woodlands. As bird watchers, we were grateful for all the bird feeders which attracted a variety of birds. We hope to visit again in the near future."

Tip:
"There was lots of information in the hut of places to visit and the information sheet was brilliant for highlighting places to eat or places to get help in an emergency (e.g. vets, doctors etc). We did not go off site during our stay, but we did find a fuel station on the way home, that was easy to access, at Laceby Lodge. Fuel was very reasonably priced as well."

"Really lovely site. Very easy to get to, very level so no faffing about with blocks.
Huge pitches in a really nice field with a pond and lots of birds to watch.
Clear instructions for electric meter and other facilities well kept and easy to use.
Owner was really friendly and communication was quick, even when we had to change our plans at the last minute.
Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if in the area. One of the nicest we’ve been to."

Tip:
"Grimsby Fishermen’s Heritage !museum was fascinating.
Also there is a tour on the Ross Tiger fishing boat……unfortunately it was being clean ones when we went but I’m sure it’s equally as good as the museum.
