We are happy you really liked the site and found us friendly and clean. The information kiosk will be getting it's updated leaflets later this month when the leaflet swop takes place. It gets increasingly difficult to gather leaflets but we still think visitors use them here. No walking to a pub is not easy from the site although there are two pubs less than two miles away! Biking would be a be option or if you have a car just pop in that.

Take a stroll through the wood with all the little touches of nature, spot something different every time. Walks around the area with maps available from the information hut. Or just sit out, listen to nature and admire the amazing sunsets. "

Tip:
"Visit Cleethorpes and take a leisurely stroll along the promenade. Nice fish and chip shop on the pier. Most supermarkets are in the area. "

Carol thank you for a lovely review. It is great when our visitors enjoy what we have around us. The wildlife is a constant delight. The sunsets are super bur a little rare at the moment! Fish and chips is a must in Cleethorpes. See you again soon.

"Absolutely lovely site. Very well setup and had all the information we could have needed. Very close to home for us but was perfect for our first ever trip out in our first ever caravan. The owner offered plenty of advice and telephone numbers if we ran into any difficulties. We will definitely be back as it was so lovely and peaceful."

Tip:
"Bring your wellies for this time of year as the woodland walk (which was so well thought out) was very muddy due to the rain we’ve had but our dogs loved it needless to say :)"

We are so pleased your stay went well. It is quite daunting to go out the first time and arrive in the dark in a van you have never used. Well done. Yes the wood is very wet at the moment and wellies are sensible. The rain will stop I am sure! We hope to see you again and wish you well on your caravanning adventures.
