"Fantastic little site, well laid out pitches and dog walks, and feeding the fish in the pond was entertaining. Saw a couple of sparrowhawks, and a barn owl, and 2 deer spent a few minutes wandering around. Managed to trip the electric twice in the first 5 minutes but easily rectified and we then adapted our uses (handy list in the hut thanks). The glorious weather was an added bonus. "

Tip:
"We didn’t really tour around much as the main point of our stay was having a tow bar fitted to our motorhome at Tow-bars2tow-cars, and collecting a tow car from them. We drove over to Cleethorpes while they were working on the motorhome (they lent us a car), and had a lovely walk on the prom, the dog enjoyed a swim and then we enjoyed a fish and chips lunch in the sun (amazingly warm for October). "

It sounds as though you enjoyed your stay from your comments and the dog did too! Thank you for all the comments about the site and the wildlife. Most of our visitors enjoy walking at Cleethorpes and of course the fish and chips are good.

"Hunger Hill is certainly one of best sites we have stayed on after many years of caravaning The facilities were excellent and and the owner is very welcoming and informative. For us with 2 dogs it was wonderful having the wood to let them run around and also the farm walks."

Tip:
"We are great walkers so being close to the Lincolnshire Wolds was perfect, Castor is a lovely little town with excellent very reasonably priced fish and chips. We also went to The Fritties beach near Cleethorpe very dog friendly and beautiful."

Thank you for your wonderful comments. We know our four legged friends and their owners enjoy the woods and Farm Walks. Caistor is great particularly on a Saturday with a small fruit and veg stall and butchers. The Fitties is perfect for dogs as you are straight onto the beach.
