"An outstanding position, close to countryside and the village. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The views are stunning. The hosts are very approachable and pleasant to talk to. An excellent place to stay if you like countryside, walking and tranquility. We have stayed here for 5 years and thoroughly recommend it."

Tip:
"Many public footpaths in close proximity, including to Mam Tor. Various (Blue John) caverns to visit. The village has several cafes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance - we can recommend The George, The Castle (recently refurbished), Tilly’s, and Dolly’s. The nearby village of Hope also has various eateries. "

Tip:
"Very large roasts at The George. Stunning caves to explore, the best is Treecliffe. Drive to Buxton and walk the Monsail Trail to Bakewell then stop at the Peacock for a drink. Chatsworth farm shop for lovely bread. Peveril Stores in Castleton for the best sausage rolls then nip in to the Peak hotel for a pint or glass of wine "

" We have stay at Goosehill many years as a family celebrating new years eve. They are amazing cottages always clean and so very warm , Everything is there what is needed.The village is only a ten minute walk away ."
